Your comfort and relief is our goal. The beautiful thing about the style of maintenance we offer is that you will never have to prove your pain. We will do everything we can to help you whether you have a name for it or not. We aspire to give you the tools you need to clearly communicate your starting point below.
When booking your first appointment, there is some paperwork to fill out which has been provided under the Client Packet button. The Client Packet is interactive on the computer and can be filled out before an appointment and emailed in. If you have pricing questions, they can be answered on the service page, which you can access by clicking the Pricing Questions button. Prefilling out the client packet will help you have three important pieces of information ready: What is the goal of the appointment? What is your starting point? What is the timeline you would ideally like to have results in? If you need more assistances, below you can see the pain scale and the three terms (Pain Reduction, Pain Management, & Preventive Care) we use to describe where you are at versus your goal. An example of this could be: I am an 8 on the pain scale and want to focus on pain reduction. Ideally, I would like to feel like a 4 within the next 3 months.
This is the pain scale we use to describe where you are at and it can be viewed as a pop up by clicking the button indicated. You are welcome to bring this to the session prefilled out or take notes on this between sessions if that makes things easier for you.
Below you can start the process of figuring out what your goal is. The three sections describe what they are and then have questions you can ask yourself to see if you fit into that category by clicking their expansion button.
Pain Reduction is a term we use when the goal is to decrease your base line pain. Base line pain is the consistent day to day pain you feel chronically and is very different than an acute episode.
Pain Management is a term we use when the goal is to maintain your base line. This is important to determine how frequently your maintenance schedule should be to keep you feeling happy and comfortable.
This is for when you do not have chronic pain, and you are trying to maintain that status or train to new athletic heights.
